Who we are

Pinnacle Lead Sessions started in 2019 when our founder, after fifteen years managing engineering teams, noticed the same problem everywhere: new managers were promoted for technical skill and then left to figure out leadership on their own. Most training programmes offered theory. Very few taught people what to do on Monday morning.

We changed that. Every workshop we run is built around real scenarios from your industry. Participants practise giving feedback, running one-to-ones and making decisions under pressure, not just reading slides about it. Sessions are small, usually eight to twelve people, so every participant gets direct coaching.

Our facilitators have managed teams ranging from five to two hundred people across finance, technology, healthcare and the public sector. They bring their mistakes as much as their successes, because that honesty is what makes the learning stick.

What we offer

Each programme targets a specific leadership challenge. Pick one, combine several, or let us design a custom track for your organisation.

New manager foundations

A two-day intensive for people stepping into their first management role. We cover delegation, the difference between authority and influence, how to set expectations clearly and what to do when someone misses a deadline. Participants leave with a 90-day plan they can start using immediately.

Difficult conversations

A one-day workshop focused entirely on the conversations managers avoid: underperformance, interpersonal tension, salary disagreements and restructuring news. We use recorded role-play with feedback from peers and a coach. Most participants say this single day changed how they handle conflict for good.

Strategic time leadership

Half-day session for senior managers drowning in meetings. We audit how you spend your week, identify the 20% of your calendar that produces 80% of your results and help you redesign your schedule. We follow up four weeks later to see what stuck and adjust.

Executive presence

For directors and VPs who need to present to boards, investors or large teams. Over two sessions we work on voice control, storytelling structure and how to handle hostile questions without losing composure. Each participant delivers a final presentation recorded on video for self-review.

Remote team leadership

Running a distributed team requires different habits. This one-day online workshop covers asynchronous communication norms, how to spot disengagement through a screen and rituals that build trust without requiring everyone to be on camera all day. Designed for hybrid and fully remote teams.

Custom programmes

Some organisations need a workshop shaped around their specific culture, industry regulations or growth stage. We spend a day interviewing your leaders, design a bespoke curriculum and deliver it on-site or online. Minimum group size is six; maximum is twenty.

How it works

From first call to follow-up, here is what you can expect when you work with us.

1

Discovery call

We spend 30 minutes learning about your team: how many managers, what challenges they face, what you have tried before. No sales pitch, just questions.

2

Proposal and scheduling

Within three business days you receive a detailed proposal with objectives, agenda, pricing and available dates. We can usually schedule within four weeks.

3

Pre-work for participants

Each attendee completes a short self-assessment and brings a real leadership challenge they are facing. This makes the workshop personal from minute one.

4

Workshop delivery

Our facilitator runs the session at your office or via video. Activities alternate between short teaching blocks, pair exercises and group debrief. No death-by-PowerPoint.

5

Follow-up coaching

Four weeks after the workshop every participant joins a 45-minute group coaching call. We review what they applied, what did not work and what to try next.

What participants say

Honest feedback from managers who attended our workshops.

★★★★★
"I dreaded giving negative feedback. After the difficult conversations workshop I had three of those conversations in a single week and each one went better than I expected. The role-play practice made all the difference."

"I was sceptical about doing leadership training online, but the remote team workshop was genuinely interactive. The facilitator kept energy high and the breakout exercises felt more productive than many in-person sessions I have attended."
